Ask for Evidence campaign progress

30 September 2011

Momentum is building since we launched the campaign. Can you help us reach more people?

The launch of the Ask for Evidence public campaign on 14th September was covered on BBC Breakfast, Radio 5 Live and in a growing list of articles. There have been great pieces from the BMJ to The Weather Club magazine and the Food Standards Agency, the Royal Statistical Society and the Society of Biology among others have written about the campaign.

Momentum is building by the day, as organisations are signing up. Most recently the MS Trust, Ovarian Cancer Action, and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust told their audiences to Ask for Evidence. We are constantly updating our list of campaign supporters.

We want more members of the public asking advertisers, companies, government bodies and other organisations to set out the evidence they have for their claims. We still need to reach many more people and organisations. Can you help? Let us know at report@senseaboutscience.org
