Why Experiment?

Our fourth annual Sense About Science lecture took place on Tuesday 3rd March 2009, at the Cruciform Lecture Theatre, UCL, and was delivered by Dr Olivia Judson.
Dr Judson, a research fellow at Imperial College London, is an evolutionary biologist and award-winning writer. She is the author of Dr. Tatiana’s Sex Advice to All Creation: The Definitive Guide to the Evolutionary Biology of Sex, which has been translated into more than 15 languages and made into a three-part television programme.
She has been a reporter for The Economist and has written for numerous publications including Nature and The Financial Times. She is also author of the New York Times science blog, The Wild Side.
The event was chaired by Tracey Brown, Managing Director of Sense About Science.
